Photos From Above!

Top 2 photos are from Salt Lake City Airport. The picture above is from downtown Salt Lake City.

It was a great trip. The only part I didn't like was having to wake up a 4 am. So i could get to the Albuquerque Sunport. TO make a 5:55 am flight to Salt Lake City. All went well. I do enjoy flying with the U.S. largest airline which is Delta.

I was lucky to get a window seat and get to fly home in clear skies. I have included my photos of the experience! Thanks to the great work of my Lumix DMC-LZ6 Digital Camera.

A Great Place to Bike- Albuquerque!

The Rio Grande River, following through Albuquerque.

For the last two days of this adventure. I have been enjoying one of my favorite past times. That would riding a bicycle. I arrived in Albuquerque on Wednesday. I didn't know that the City of Albuquerque was such of a wonderful place to ride a bike! But now I know. Also the weather has been wonderful biking weather. No humidity with bright blue clear skies. With temperatures in the mid 60's F. The city of Albuquerque NM offers 400 miles of bike trails within the city.

I biked on beautifully designed trails. Plus their are off road trails though beautiful parks that are very special places for Cycling! With the wonderful climate in the high desert region. Where Albuquerque is located. You can enjoy to ride a bike on most days. Yes Albuquerque gets some winter conditions in January. However winter is very brief in the "Land of Enchantment". I have included some photos.

I Have Made Contact! VLA

I did have a visit to the VLA. Which stands for "Very Large Array". The VLA is the largest Radio Astrological Observatory located on Planet Earth. The VLA is located 50 miles west of Socorro NM and lies on The Plains of San Agustin. The VLA is based on the inventor of Radio Astrology Karl Jansky. Who discovered in 1931 that all planets and stars in our galaxies and the galaxies beyond admit radio waves.

The VLA has contributed lots of scientific data to the reserch community around our world. On how the plants and stars were created and continues to be a great research apparatus. The VLA was located in a remote area of New Mexico. To be isolated from all of the radio wave transmissions that takes place in our populated areas.

The 1997 movie "Contact" staring Jody Foster was filmed in New Mexico at the "Very Large Array". Based on a fictional story. That the VLA picks up a communication from Outer Space, from an Alien Source.

I have included some photos.
